The Spencerian Condominium destroyed by fire. Luckily, nobody was injured but dozens were left homeless.
Fire is always a concern for residents of the downtown area. St. John's has burnt to the ground a couple of times..the last just over 100 years ago.

80 centimeters of snow fell on Monday, April 6. The most snow in a 24 hour period since the 50's. It was all gone in a couple of days.
