Bumblefoot Calls the Dawn Patrol

Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (who is also a well-known guitar hero in his own right, with numerous solo CDs available from his website) was on the GN’R tour bus, heading to Montreal, when he phoned the Dawn Patrol last Tuesday morning. Bumblefoot talked about the origin of his unusual name, playing each night to massive audiences with one of the biggest rock bands in the world, and the upcoming guitar lesson with OZFM’s Grand Prize winner (scroll to the article below for more info)… The on-air interview was slightly edited for time, but for our faithful OZFM.commers, we present an extended version here:
