What is Crescendo?
Hollywood and Atlantic Canada will come together at a Gala concert called Crescendo for an unrivalled weekend of entertainment and philanthropy. Crescendo is aiming to raise $1 million, the largest amount from a single event in Atlantic Canadian history. More than 1,000 of Atlantic Canada's leading philanthropic individuals, families and corporations will unite for this exciting fundraising event.The highlight of the Crescendo weekend will be The David Foster & Friends Charity Gala and Concert, featuring an elegant dinner and an exclusive concert by an array of world-class performers invited by David Foster. Past events have included Josh Groban, Clay Aiken and Céline Dion. These power-packed nights of excitement leave the audiences with unforgettable memories each year. All net proceeds raised will go directly to The David Foster Foundation, which helps families by paying for the non-medical expenses for children who need life saving organ transplants. The Foundation has held its charity galas to rave reviews in Vancouver, Calgary, Niagara Falls and now in Atlantic Canada.
